Meet the Team

Courtnee Norman, Front Desk

Courtnee has been working with Dr. Lee as an Office Coordinator since December 2020. She graduated from Indian Valley High School in 2007 and attended Kent State University after highschool. Courtnee is CPR and First Aid Certified to help ensure the health and safety of our patients. The best part of Courtnee’s job is daily interaction with patients and getting to know each one of them. Outside of working at Muskingum Valley Oral Surgery, Courtnee loves spending time with her two children, Makenna and Camden. They enjoy playing outside, sports, hiking and spending time with their large family. Courtnee may be one of the newest members of the team, but she is quickly learning and loving being a part of such an amazingly talented group of individuals.

Valerie D. Worthington, Insurance Coordinator

For the past 27 years, Val has provided quality care to her patients as a
dental/surgical assistant and now claims processing. For over 17 years Val has helped Dr. Lee build his practice while sharing her good natured, loving and caring personality with our patients. Working with patients and getting to know them is the best part of Valerie’s job, and what has kept her interested in this business for more than twenty years. A Crooksville, OH native, Valerie graduated from Crooksville High School in 1992. She provides an added level of service to our patients by maintaining her Basic Life Support and Dental Radiography certifications, and medical/dental coding skills. Outside the office, Valerie has 3 children. Her oldest daughter graduated from Columbus State University with a degree in Dental Hygiene. Her middle son works the pipeline and has 3 children himself. The youngest daughter is a student at Ohio University in Athens and is majoring in bachelor in mathematics and sciences.
Valerie loves spending time with family and friends, country concerts, everything in the water and anything that involves laughing! This bundle of energy thinks that having fun and laughing is a MUST, and her positive attitude is contagious.

Missy, Surgical Assistant

For over 35 years Missy has enjoyed meeting patients, making them feel great about themselves and feel more comfortable in the dental chair.  Dedicated, dependable and always friendly and outgoing, even the most anxious patient feel at ease around her.  Having worked with Dr. Lee since 2005 and in oral surgery for 26 years her experience and expertise is greatly valued!  Missy has been married for 32 years with 4 children and 3 grandchildren who she says complete her world.  Besides working and contributing to our team, Missy enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and travelling.

Kendra Ogle, Surgical Assistant

Kendra is the newest member of the MVOS family. She is a certified surgical technologist (CST), A member of the AST, and certified in Basic Life Support (BLS). Kendra loves getting to know our patients and making them feel comfortable and safe while in our care.

Outside of work Kendra loves spending time with her husband Matt and their 2 children Brinley and Jaxon. They love traveling to the beach, playing outside, sports, and spending time with their large family. Kendra is extremely happy to be a part of the MVOS family and is loving every minute of learning from the most kind and caring individuals.

Hannah Guess, Surgical Assistant

Hannah has been working for MVOS since she graduated Philo High School and Mid-East Zanesville where she studied nursing in 2020 at the young age of 18. Since then, she has been certified in BLS (Basic Life Support) and RHS (Radiation Health & Safety). Hannah’s goal with every patient is to make them feel welcome, comfortable, and safe during their visit. She loves to make people laugh with her unfiltered spirit. Her favorite things to do outside of the office are traveling with her boyfriend (Alex), spending time with friends and family, going to concerts, and shopping!

Danielle Johnson, Surgical Assistant

Danielle has worked in the dental field since 2007. She has been a part of the MVOS family since 2017. She is a certified DA, with  BLS and Ohio radiographer certifications. Danielle thoroughly enjoys her job and making her patients' visits pleasant and personable.
Danielle enjoys spending quality time with her son, Joseph, and their dog, Armin. Together, they enjoy relaxing on the beach in the summer, being adventurous and exploring the outdoors, and being inspired by travel and experiencing different cultures and foods! 

Rachelle Thieman, Surgical Assistant/Implant Coordinator

Rachelle is a Beverly, Ohio native. After spending nearly 5 years living in Colorado, she returned to the MOV to be closer to her family. She is a graduate of Fort Frye High School and attended Marietta College where she was a member of the cheerleading team. Rachelle is a CDA, certified in BLS, CPR, and Dental Assistant Anesthesia. She loves everything about her job, especially the connection she shares with every patient. Rachelle’s favorite activities include snowboarding, spending time with her husband Brandt, her daughter Taytum, and her son Cruz. She loves snuggling her two Goldendoodles, hiking, mountain biking, going to the gym, and baking.

Lindsey Morehead, Surgical Technologist/Surgical Assistant

Lindsey Has enjoyed being in the medical field as a Certified Surgical Technologist for over 15 years and has also been a clinical instructor for others wanting to work in surgery. Her Pleasant disposition, love of her work, and dedication to quality care for every patient make her a perfect fit for our team. She maintains her Surgical Technologist Certification, as well as her BLS, Ohio Radiology Certification, and AST Membership. She and her husband, Ryan, are both W.V. Natives and have 3 daughters. She enjoys spending time with her Family, Singing, Classic films, and being involved in her community through church, different youth outreaches, and serving at her local Shelter.
